Kirkland Requejo is the Commercial Manager & U.S. Policy Analyst at Mondragon Assembly, based in Chicago, where he leads all commercial accounts across the region for the company’s PV module manufacturing equipment business. In this role, he aligns Mondragon Assembly’s turnkey production line & special machinery capabilities with customers’ manufacturing capacity and product design goals, serving as subject matter expert on regional markets and government regulations & incentives to guide customers from initial business planning through stabilized production. He specializes in working with business partners in the defense and aerospace industries.

Kirkland brings a career built on leadership across sales, technical education, and operations. Prior to Mondragon Assembly, he was the Sales Director of a manufacturing technology start-up and held sales leadership roles in the commercial insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

Kirkland began his career as a U.S. Army officer, developing his skill sets in operations and training. While serving as a platoon leader in Afghanistan, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious leadership during combat operations.

Kirkland earned his B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University.
